What we care about

We believe time away should actually feel like time away. Many Samsú stays are deliberately tech-free, giving you the chance to put your phone down and spend a little less time looking at a screen. Read a book. Go for a walk. Cook something good. Sit outside. Do absolutely nothing. We're interested in what happens when you have less to consume, and more time to notice.

We choose places that make it easy to reconnect with the natural world. Our cabins are found in peaceful, secluded settings across Ireland – places where the landscape isn't just something to look at, but part of the experience. We encourage guests to get outside, explore their surroundings and take things at a slower pace. The location matters just as much as the cabin.

We don't think you need more things to have a better time. Samsú is about choosing less, but choosing well. It's about spending time rather than filling time, and finding enjoyment in simple things rather than constantly looking for something new. Our stays are designed to give you what you need to settle in, while creating space to appreciate what you already have. Less scrolling. Less rushing. Less stuff. More time.

We believe the spaces we spend time in affect how we feel. Samsú cabins are thoughtfully designed to be comfortable, calm and considered — places where the details have a purpose and nothing needs to shout for attention. We want our spaces to feel at home in their surroundings, while giving you everything you need for a comfortable stay. Simple, considered and made for living slowly.

Samsú is growing across Ireland, with stays currently in Mayo, Wexford, Westmeath, Wicklow and beyond. Every location has its own character, landscape and local story. We want our guests to experience those places rather than simply pass through them, to discover a new walk, find a favourite local spot and leave knowing a little more about the corner of Ireland they've visited.
