The Fieldhouse - perfect for those who love cooking long meals in nature
Who is The Fieldhouse for?
The Fieldhouse is for couples, friends and solo travellers who want to live woodland life for a few days — cook outside, light the fire pit, take a slow evening sauna, and just spend quality time together. The cabin sleeps two, and is walking and cycling paradise, with the Hook Peninsula's beaches, abbeys and Norman history all around when you do want to head out. Saltmills is about 2 hours from Dublin and around 2 hours from Cork. Perfect for those who want to feel totally immersed in nature, but still close to amenities and regular life. Things to note: The Fieldhouse sits on the edge of a village, not totally in wilderness — you'll sometimes hear neighbours and children playing. Parking is inside the property, ten metres from the door. There is no wifi at the cabins, but phone signal is pretty good.
